I decided to put a new spin on my stamping creativity. While my best friend, Denise, was here visiting me...I wanted to make her a special gift that had some personal touch to it.
I had her pick out 4 of my stamps that she really liked (Unity only). I then stamped the images on a piece of paper, cut around the image (leaving a border), then taped the image on the inside of the glass mug. I used my ProvoCraft Chizzle-It and engraved/etched the images.
Luckily, her mug made the trip home and she is enjoying her soda or water from it. I hope you enjoy my project and are inspired to create something new.
Note: There is black paper placed in the mug to show the etching better.

Unity KOM Sketch Challenge/April #2
Faith, Love, Hope
This card was made in honor of all those who have fought breast cancer and have won, are still battling, or have lost the battle. I lost my mom to breast cancer/cancer and I have friends that have battled and won...and I have family that are still battling. I have lots of HOPE that soon...there will be a cure.
Stamps used were from the October 2011 KOM. I also used an Awareness ribbon die cut from Cuttlebug and applied two different colors of pink glitter.
Thank you for looking. All comments are appreciated :)

Holidays Are Better
This is a card that I made using Unity stamps. I really love their stamps.
I was trying to get this card finished in time for the November Sketch Challenge, but I didn't make it in time. So I thought I would go ahead and post it for the December KOM Sketch Challenge since it still falls into the sketch design.
The stamps used were all from the November KOM.
First I stamped a tag (from Tim Holtz Sizzix die cut) using the snowflake background stamp and embossed it with gold.
On white cardstock I stamped the two cardinals image and then colored the cardinals using Sakura Gelly Roll Starlight pens (Red). The holly berries I used red glitter glue. Then I cut everything out.
I applied them to the bookplate I cut out on the same die cut that the tag was on. I put vellum paper behind the bookplate and applied the cardinals and holly. I also used the branches punch from Martha Stewart. I stamped the sentiments on light tan paper and wrote over the words with the same Gelly Roll pen. I used wavy decorative scissors to cut it out...then I inked the edges with liquid chalk stamp in Warm Red.
The velvet ribbon trim was cut out using Sizzix Ribbon Trim die cut.
Other items used was a velvet poinsettia flower with a christmas brad for the center, a bracket cut out, and gifts cut out from patterned paper.
I hope you like my project. I will be posting more Christmas cards all throughout December. Thank you for looking. Comments are appreciated :)
