I am a stay-at-home mom. I have been married to my handsome and wonderful husband for over 14 years. Right now he's battling stomach/esophagus cancer. So I do my best to craft when I can. I have two wonderful boys. My oldest, Garett, is 24 and served 5 years in the Navy. He's been home since the beginning of the year (2014). We are very proud of him. My youngest, "DJ", is 13 and in the 8th grade. I have two Border Collie mix dogs (Koda and Rugu), one Calico cat (Hydie), one orange Tabby cat (Bosley), one Tea Cup Chihuahua (Gigi...I LOVE her sooo much), a Chiweinnie (Lily....sweetest dog ever), and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua (Connor....AAALL boy).

Halloween Greetings

Happy Friday Everyone!!

My week has been BUUUSY! Monday my husband and I decided to become foster parents to a puppy chihuahua named Lily.  What a CUTIE she is.
In fact, she is such a sweet dog that we are ALMOST thinking of adopting her, ourselves.  Well, I don't need to think about it...but I've been trying to convince hubby to.  She has been a wonderful playmate to our Gigi...

Anyway...yesterday was a sore heart day.  I had to take Lily to get spayed.  So all day long I was worried about her...and now my heart hurts for her for her pain.  But I know one person whose heart, I think, has been won over?  I don't know...what do you think?
This is hubby trying to comfort Lily as she was in pain but not eating...so I couldn't give her a pain pill.  But this morning she is doing better.  She ate some food and I was able to give her her medicine.  :)

Anyway...here is my card for Friends With Flair.  It was my card challenge with my friend Nicole.  This time I set the theme challenge and it was to be Halloween using the Spellbinder Labels #1 and Stickles.  And here it is:

    Love your layout on this card...so cute. I could never foster a dog - we'd have every one of them (which would be OK with DH but I'm the one at home with them-ha, ha!).

    I would have a hard time giving up any foster. Lily looks like a sweetie. Okay, back to your sparkly witch....She is fantastic!

    Aww...that is so adorable! Your card is fantastic too...lol! I say go for the adoption...but of course, I'd say that for any dog! I have a Lily puppy too...just a tad bit bigger...mine's a Great Dane! I hope that your Lily recovers quickly!

    There's nothing worse than seeing an animal or child in pain. I hope hubby gives in on the adoption of Lily. I can tell she's a sweetie! Fun glittery design of your card.
