MPC Giving Thanks Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!!  Thanks for stopping by. I have a couple of projects to share with you today using Unity Stamps and Tombow.
My first project is a cute gift berry basket I made using a template.
I assembled it using Tombow'Extreme tape runner. This stuff is super strong! I used brads to decorate the basket and applied some super pretty quilled roses that Marilynn gave me using the Tombow Aqua liquid glue. Again, wonderful stuff.

Lastly, I made a card and put the Extreme tape runner to the test against the burlap. I'm completely in love with these Tombow product.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Next up is the awesomeness of

Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Happy Sunday everyone. Today I am showing off my creation using the new Stamp of the Week stamp titled "Winter Forest". The second I saw this stamp, I knew right away that it HAD to be a shaker card. So that is what it became.

This image also reminds me of being up at my inlaws house in the Rocky Mountains. It's so peaceful up there.

I'm not sure why the picture shows my card kinda wavy, but it's not lol.

Here is a short video of the shaker in action.  Enjoy :)

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to leave a comment before leaving.  One lucky hopper will have a chance to win Stamp of the Week for a WHOLE MONTH!!!  Next hop over to the next blog which is Christina!!!! But here's the entire list in case you get lost along the way.

Thank you to EVERYONE

Hello FWF Peeps....

It's been soooo long since I have posted anything here.  I'm glad to say that I have finally had a little time to craft something.

My husband was recently diagnosed with stomach/esophagus cancer.  The beginning of it all is like a whirlwind under your feet...tests, xrays, labs, appointments...etc.  It's crazy and hectic...and overwhelming at times.  Especially when you run into troubles.

But here is my card I made in between all my busy time.  It's one of the MANY MANY Thank you cards I have to make for EVERYONE that has been so helpful to us.

It's from the set "Feelin' Owly"  The glitter and inked edge is Antique Linen from Tim Holtz.

Since my husband's diagnosis we have run into some financial issues and the biggest one right now is that our washing machine broke down in the middle of washing his clothes.  ALL his loose fitting clothes.  He just got out of the hospital after having a chemotherapy port placed and a feeding tube inserted.  He needs his loose fitting clothes and bedding washed.  So what funds I can collect will be used to get a new washer...hopefully ASAP.  The one we have is old and has been repaired 3 times.  Not going to repair it again.  So whatever you all can do to help...I would be EVER so grateful.  I cry each time I see a donation.  Thank you to those who already have.

Growing in Unity - Day 5

OH!!!  How sad.  My last post.  Christmas in July has come to an end.  I know that Friday is the 1st....but I'm writing this post on the last day in July...so it still counts LOL.

Here is a peek at my Friday project from WAAAAY back when I was a GIU girl.  Friday, August 12, 2011 - My Growing in Unity Project Day 5

Now here is TODAY's project.

This is Charlee Girl.  Watercolored using watercolor pencils of all sorts.  The ice was topped off with "Waterfall" Stickles and then I added some cute dimensional embellishments.  The snowman wants to join the fun.  LOL.

Thank you so much for following me and commenting on my projects.  I had fun doing the Christmas in July theme.  I hope it gave you ideas and inspiration.

Make sure you leave your comment.  I will be picking a name tomorrow (Saturday) and announcing it some time in the later afternoon.  Take care and have a GREAT weekend.

Growing in Unity - Day 4

*Sigh*  Only 2 more postings left.  I'm glad everyone is enjoying seeing all my projects.  I enjoy seeing what everyone else comes up with too when posting on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook page.  I guess that's why I love to craft every day.  So much inspiration out there.

Anyway...my next project is a technique I saw on the Show and Tell page.  But I can't remember who it is again.  I masked off a section of the greeting card base and spritzed the background with three different colors of Smooch Spritz.
Then, I stamped my RolyPoly snow dude from the November 2011 KOM in the bare center.  I didn't plan on the birdhouse over-lapping the background spray but after I colored the image in with my Copics, it kinda looks like he's coming through a hole and the birdhouse is on one side of the opening.  Anyway...I added some Stickles for the falling snow and stamped the sentiment from the October 2010 KOM.  I really love this RolyPoly guy.

For yesterday's Shaker Ornament....it's really easy to do.  I just cut out a circle in the foam board then cut another circle in the center big enough for the image. This is when I placed my ribbon loop round through so that all the next layers will cover up the part going around through.  I glued some ribbon on the inside raw edge of the foam board to cover it up, placed acetate over the top opening and glued it down.  Cut out decorative paper the same cut as the foam board and adhered it over the top of the acetate surface.  Placed all my shaker goodies inside the back opening of the ornament then adhered my image to the back (making sure I have my glue very close to the edges of the opening to "seal off" any shaker goodies from dropping down and becoming stuck (I did this to both sides).  Then I adhered another backing to give it a nice finished look.  I used red cardstock.  I glued tinsel garland around the outer raw edges of the foam for a nice finished look.  Then I decorated the outside with my die cuts and embellishments.

Thanks for visiting me again.  Also....don't forget to keep leaving comments after every post for your chance to win Two Itty Bitty's of your choice.  So fun!!!  See ya tomorrow.  My last day :(

Growing In Unity - Day 3

Happy Hump Day

Here it is Wednesday ALREADY.  I can't believe it.  Hope everyone's week is going great so far.  Mine is.  I've been selling a LOT of my destash crafting stuff.  I have been collecting so much over the years that I think they call it hoarding?  Anyway...I'll share with you the site I buy and sell from.  It's on facebook.

Here is my project for today....

I used the "You Melt My Heart" stamp and turned it into a snowglobe shaker ornament.  I used foam board and embellished the outside with Impression Obsession pine branches and a pinecone.  Then topped it off with some snowflake punches and a rhinestone.  The inside of the shaker is filled with sequins, Flower Soft and glitter.

Thanks for visiting me again.  Don't forget to leave a comment each day on my blogs for your chance to win 2 Itty Bitty's of your choice.  You'll have till Friday.  Have a great day....

The facebook groups I buy and sell from are Scrapbook Deals and Scrapbook Bargain Basement.  Both of these sites are closed groups but all you need to do is request to join and they'll let you in...pretty quick too.

Growing in Unity - Day 2

Ok....I forgot to mention in yesterday's blog that the theme I am going with all this week is Christmas.  Christmas in July.

I love to make cards with glitter, rhinestone, and sequins.  Anything that shimmers.  So I knew that with this ornament, from the October 2013 KOM, I would have to use my glitter Zing Embossing powder. Topped with matching bows and a cute tag on top...this is sure to brighten someone's holiday card wall.

Thanks for stopping by.  And don't forget to leave comments on my blog every day this week for your chance to win two Itty Bitty's of your choice.  Make sure you follow me so you can get back here easier.  Have a great Tuesday.

Growing in Unity - Day 1

Hello...and welcome to my Growing in Unity Day 1 project.

I'm really excited to be back doing the GIU.  Actually...GIU is how it ALL began.  August 8, 2011 was my first day as a GIU girl.  And I was really nervous because I didn't have ANY clue as to what I was supposed to do beforehand.  But I think it was Maria that helped me out and guided me in the right direction.  Poke your head into the past and have a look at my FIRST GIU POST

Anyway...here is my Day 1 Project...

When I saw this adorable stamp I knew I just HAD to have it.  It totally reminded me of my grandma's vintage flocked ornaments she would hang on our Christmas tree.  So I decided to use to some vintage colors and go with that theme.  The Merry and Bright was stamped with clear watermark ink and embossed with red Zing glitter embossing powder.  And to tie the whole vintage theme together...I had to use the little red pom pom trim.  I have so many memories of Christmas pasts.  I absolutely love Christmastime.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment on each project every day till Friday for a chance to win two Itty Bitty's of your choice.  Follow my blog so you know how to get back each day.  On Friday I will have my random number generator pick a name out of AAAALL the names that have commented.  So make sure you comment.  Winner will be announced on Saturday.  Good luck

MPC's Christmas in July Blog Hop

Half way there....can't believe it!!  Eeesh....sometimes thinking about it makes me itch LOL.

I love Christmas...EVERYTHING about it.  But mostly I love the Spirit of Christmas.  So to do something in July makes it a little bit giddy for me.

So thank you so much for joining our blog hop.  The first one that Mountain Plains Crafters has had.  If you are here after visiting Terri...then you are headed in the right direction.  We would like to thank #Clearsnap for making the hop all possible.  We each got the three items in our picture(s) to craft with.  And YOU have the chance to win all of the same 3 products.  All you have to do is leave a comment on each of our blogs.  I'll tell you more after you see my projects.

I made my tag for the Reindeer Food using the Archival ink to stamp with, the Smooch Spritz for the tag top...which you can't see really well :( ...and the edges were painted with the Smooch Spruce Ink.  The little directions say:

Sprinkle on your lawn at night
the moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa's reindeer fly and roam
this food will guide them to your home.

How fun to give this little gift to a special little neighbor child, niece/nephew, or just to keep for yourself and your children?

My next project I will be uploading soon so if you have come here and it's not below, check back later.

So thanks for coming by and visiting my blog.  Next up is the AMAZING Marilynn.  Don't forget to leave a comment here and on everyone else's blog for your chance to win some of these products for yourself. They are SO fun.  And if you want to follow me....I would love that.

Huge Number

Happy Friday everyone....

It's been awhile since I've posted in FWF.  Been so busy puppy sitting my grandpuppy while my son works at nights.  She wears me out.

So here is my card.  A nice pretty card using the Itty Bitty Single Flower Miracle and a sassy sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Grassy Days

My friend, Denise, is having issues with her blog and posting so I'm going to post this for her using my blog.  So this is her entry...not mine.

Her card was made using the Unity January Kit of the Month.

I love her blue flowers in the tree :)

Silver and Metallics

Happy FWF

So this card I made just playing around with my metallic pencils and set it up for Splitcoast Stampers Card Sketch Challenge.  I love the way this came out.  I took a close up pic so you can see how rich the colors came out here...however the camera still doesn't do the colors justice.

The stamp I used was from the December 2012 KOM and the sentiment is from a grab bag.  Thanks for stopping by and have a fab weekend.

She has a fawn in the lawn

Happy Friday everyone...

This is the sample card I made for the Lawn Fawn Challenge we have going on over at Mountain Plains Crafters.

I used the Whitney Girl and Deer to Me Stamps all watercolored in.

Come on over and join us for fun and win some Lawn Fawn stamps and paper.

Pregnancy Congrats

Found out today that my LOOOONG time best friend's son and his wife are having a baby.  SOOOO.....I just HAD to make a card.  I have been wanting to use these cute silhouette stamps from Unity for a long time and now I finally got to ink one up.
I took a plain black card and sprayed it with pink paint mist, pink shimmer mist, and silver shimmer mist.  The tag was sprayed with pink paint mist, pink shimmer mist, and silver shimmer mist.  I used silver washi tape and placed a "Congratulations!" rub-on over one of them.  Added a few sequins and POOF....instant shimmery cute card for the not-so-girly girl.  :)

World of Possibilities...

FRIDAY?  Again??  Wow!!  Happy Friday.  I hope everyone had an AWESOME Easter (If that is a holiday you celebrate).

My card today was made using Donna Downey's "Create Today" kit.  I have been wanting to get it inked up for a couple of weeks now and this afternoon was the time.

I started out spraying the lower half of watercolour paper with yellow shimmer spray that I made myself.  After that, I placed a half circle tape mask down and sprayed some peach Smooch spray, pink Tattered Angels, a little more yellow, some Denim Blue Tattered Angels and then some light blue homemade shimmer spray.  It's too bad you can't see how shimmery it really is.

Next I removed the tape mask and voila...my sun!

The next technique I did was I misted the grass stamp with water then coloured the stamp with my watercolour pencils using peach, yellow, and brown.  I stamped it twice to cover the page.  Next was the "tree" which I just used black ink for a silhouette look.  I stamped the heart with pink pigment ink and used a pink embossing powder and painted the inside of the heart with the pink Tattered Angels spray.  The sentiment I stamped on vellum with white pigment ink and used white embossing powder...then snipping away very carefully around the words.  I finished the card off with a bit of jute twine and presto...the card is done.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.

Remember to check out and "Like" our new facebook page Mountain Plains Crafters and read some of the announcements.  We are getting closer to our goal.  We still need to get 100 followers on our blog page.  Check it out here: Mountain Plains Crafters Blog

Happy As You Choose

Happy Friday everyone...

Well, before I had mentioned something exciting that was in the works....

and we have finally launched it.  Who is "we" you may ask?  Well, a few of us AWESOME ladies that you know and love have come together to form a fun and exciting crafting group.  Pam Stang, Terri Burson, and Yours Truly have formed Mountain Plains Crafters.  I'll explain more about it after I show you my card.

I love this stamp.  The sentiment can't be any more true.  I wish more people in this world would think like that instead of thinking that happiness should just fall in their laps.  It really irritates me when some people surround themselves with negativity and demonstrate negativity and then wonder why their lives are not enriched and happy.  Go figure.

My flowers are Prima Flowers (found them at Tuesday Morning...CHEAP!!!) with some half pearl gems I placed in the centers.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my card.  If you are interested in our new community blog...please keep reading.

We created this group for a fun place to go and share your work, tips and tricks, participate in contests, challenges, games, or whatever.  Most will have prizes...some won't.  It's all about the FUN of it all.  Since this is SO new...we have a handful of TOTALLY cool vendors that will be sponsoring us.  And not just ANY vendor...people you have heard of.

For our FIRST prize-based challenge we have an EASY one.  All you need to do is go to our facebook page and "like" us.  Just CLICK HERE.  Then go follow us on our blog by CLICKING HERE.  Once we reach 100 likes on facebook and 100 followers on our blog, we will have a drawing for each site.  TWO lucky winners will be drawn and announced after we reach our goal.

NOW....for some MORE great news.  We are looking for 2 or 3 more design team members to join our small but exciting group that we are certain will be a blast to be a part of.  If you are interested...please send us pictures of your favorite work or links to your blog pages to mountainplainscrafters@gmail.com.

Easter is a coming....

I love Easter.  My birthday is usually around Easter.  I always have fond memories of colouring eggs with my mom and couldn't wait till the next morning to go hunt for the eggs the Easter Bunny hid.  And best of all....THE CANDY!!!!  LOL.

Sadly...my kids never took an interest in dying eggs so that tradition was killed off pretty quick.  But when I have grandkids (no rush), I look forward to trying it out with them.

So the stamp I used was the Itty Bitty "Pretty Easter Find".  The grass is a die cut from My Favorite Things. I cut it out in white and coloured it with my copics. The bunny is from Impression Obsession and the basket is Memory Box. I cut the handle off the basket and then reattached it once I placed my cut out image of the "Pretty Easter Find". It was a little time consuming but fun. The grass paper is from DCWV and the cloud is from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan by American Crafts. You can find the stack at Tuesday Morning. It is FILLED with adorable papers.

You're Too Sweet

Happy Friday everyone...

Here's a really cute card I made for my FWF challenge today using the Berry Sweet Moments.  I used Glossy Accents to give the berries a gloss and add dimension.  I coloured in the berries with Copics and gave the sentiments some shimmer with Stickles.

Thanks for stopping by...hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  :)

Life is Good at the Beach

Beach vs Mountains

Oh how I miss the beaches.  My mom used to love to go.  I loved laying on the warm sand...on my belly...closing my eyes and listen to the roar of the waves and the sound of the seagulls.  I want to visit the beaches again.  But just visit.

I love the mountains.  The crisp clean cool air....  The beauty...the smell of the pine trees.  I love Colorado and I wouldn't trade it for anything....

Stamps used:  Itty Bitty's - It's All Good and Flip Flop Happy (shrinky dink charm), and All Day Pass.

Have a great weekend...and for those that are visiting the beach!!

Beautiful Birthday

Happy Friends with Flair Friday

I'm so excited for this week...so many new things happening.  I'll post more about it next week when we get our poop in a group...but it's coming along nicely.

My card for this week is a birthday card using Donna Downey's Insightful Meadows, the butterfly from the January 2014 KOM, and the Happy Birthday from the single little phrases.  I stamped the butterfly using VersaMark Dazzle Watermark Ink and embossed it with clear glitter embossing powder.  I love this embossing powder and will be very sad when I run out as the company is no longer in business :(

Anyway...I hope you enjoy your weekend.  We are supposed to get snow tomorrow after having a nice day of 60 degrees today.  LOL.  Take care.

Wine and Friends

I thought I posted this card somewhere, other than SCS, but I guess not.  So I will make this my last FWF posting this week.

I made this card for my friend that was going through the separation from her husband.  I invited her over for some hot tubbing and she was bringing the wine.  Unfortunately, that didn't work out.  Hot tub water was dead and needed to be drained.  :(  I did everything to try and clean it but it was time.  And we only run our hot tub for the winter.

SOOO....we are going to have to get together and just have some wine and maybe a video to watch.  Who knows.  LOL

I'm very pleased with how this card turned out.  The stamps I used:  Wit & Wisdom Wine and the wine glasses are from the November 2012 KOM.

Cheers!!

Becoming that Person

I'm not really happy with the way this turned out.  I was following this weeks sketch on SCS.  BUT....I LOVE this stamp.  So inspirational and motivating.

The paper I used is also purchased from Unity.  Except the tan piece.  Absolutely LOVE this cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have an AWESOME weekend.

Thank you for your part...

I posted this on Facebook and a lot have seen this, but I'm going to post this for my FWF!!  This card was made for the foster mom of the recent puppy I adopted from a rescue. She took on the mom and her 3 pups when they were only about 8 weeks old. Connor (mine) was the very last puppy to be adopted at the age of 4 1/2 months. I knew she was going to have a hard time now with an "empty nest" of puppies so I sent her a thank you card from Connor with frequent pics texted and thru facebook. I fostered a puppy and wanted to adopt her but she ended up getting adopted by someone else.  I was totally heartbroken for days.  It's hard to let go....lol.  So here are the stamps I used: "Tail Wagger", Donna Downey "Your Part, My Journey", Paw Prints from "Hugs & Kitties"

I also included a picture of Connor.  I almost swear this stamp was designed with Connor in mind LOL.

Anyway...Happy Friday and have a great weekend.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Congrats to all the new Design Team Members so far.  I sure hope I make it.

Stronger than you think

Happy Happy Friday...
And a whole week off of waking up early to get my son up for school.  SPRING BREAK!!  Still makes me mad, though, that they don't make spring break to go with Easter.  At any rate...

My card this week is for one of my best friends I've known since 1984.  She  has been married for 22 years and her husband wants a separation because he "just doesn't feel like being married anymore."  So she has been pretty much forced to move out and live in an apartment for 13 months to "see how things go".  This poor girl has been in love with this man ever since she said "I do".  And now she has had everything yanked out from under her.  She deals with her emotions on a day by day basis and thank God she has more friends around like me that care about her.  So I had to make a card just for her to remind her that she has more in her than she knows.

I have REALLY fallen in love with the Donna Downey stamps.  There is so much you can do with them.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Lovely Wedding

Hello again.

This card was made for a wonderful cousin of mine that has found the love of his life and is finally getting married.  He and his partner are getting married on the beach with only a handful of people.  In this world full of judgement and hate, prejudice and discrimination,  and just downright disrespect for everyone's owns beliefs...I'm so happy for my gay cousin to finally have met someone that is full of love and content and NO DRAMA.

Congrats to Bryan and Josh.  Love you both!!!

I made this card using the rainbow stamp from Happyville, the phrase from Thoughts of the Heart, and the Cloud background from the October 2010 KOM.  The Grateful Lattice from Spellbinders is cut in Hunter Green and the phrase is stamped in "hunter green" which is Bryan's favorite color.  The image and phrase background is in black and the clouds are stamped on red which is Josh's favorite colors.  I combined everything together to represent THEM.

Thanks again for stopping by.  Hope you like my card...even though it is a little "busy" lol.  HAPPY FRIDAY and HAPPY MARCH!!!

Have a PUN weekend

Happy Friday (Late) everyone....

Today I am showing off my Pun cards.  I know I posted these on Facebook but I'm showing them here too.  Not everyone gets a chance to be on Facebook so I gotta share them today.  These Unity Pun stamps are so adorable and FUNNY.  I hope you like what I've done with mine.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.

Ok....some people aren't getting the Sherbert card.  There's a song that goes, "Go go go go go Shawty, it's your birthday!"  But this is saying "It's Sherbert Day"

Flip the Birdie LOL

Today I'm sharing my flip card I made using a couple of stamp sets.  The Birdie Duet and the flower strip was from the August 2011 KOM.  Also there are two squares that are stamped using the Ann Butler Faux Quilting 1" Leaves All Over stamps.

I'm really happy with how this came out.  Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

PS.  I also am sharing a card I made for a good friend I've known since 1973.  She is Irish and her birthday is on St. Patrick's Day.  I used the shamrocks I found in the February 2012 KOM.  Take care.

Thanks a Bunch

Hello!  This Unity stamp is from the Stamp of the Week collection.  I just love the flowers.  The die cut flowers are matching the ones in the image.  I left out the pink flower so it was unique and it's own.

The flowers were cut using Tim Holtz Tattered Flower Garland.  And the leaf branch was Memory Box Lavish Branch (which was perfect because it had the little flowers on it).  I added a little lace to give it a victorian/vintage type feel to it.

Thanks for visiting.  Have a great week/weekend.

Chicky Chick Chick

I can't believe it's Friday again.  I hope those that are in extreme cold are staying warm.  It's been quite cold here (-10 to -30).  My poor little teacup Chihuahua barely gets out to pee and on her way back she is frozen in her tracks.  I have to rescue her and bring her back in under my warm coat.  LOL.

Anyway...my card project for this week is a card set using the Unity Chick stamps.  I haven't had a chance yet to use the Chick with the balloons, but it will go with this collection.  But here are two of them:  Chick in the Rain and You Crack Me Up.

Thank you for stopping by.  Hope everyone has a marvelous weekend.  Chirp chirp!!

Valentine Tree

This card was a little bit time consuming but fun.

Originally I was going to make it a die-cut only card but I messed up on placements and ended up with a space at the bottom.  It looked funny so I decided to add a sentiment to it.  I resorted to my newly filed binders of Unity KOM stamps to search for a sentiment.  It didn't take long.  There it was!  PERFECT for the scene of the card.  Right from the December 2011 KOM.  Unity has a stamp for EVERY SINGLE PURPOSE!

I have since added a pink heart to each end of the sentiment to cover up the edge of the grass.

For all the die-cuts:  I used Memory Box: Puffy Clouds, Spring Border, and Picket Fence. Cottage Cutz: Bella Spring Tree. Impression Obsession: Grass Border, Double Heart Edger, and Butterfly. Die-namics: Fresh Cut Grass. Then Spellbinders for the box for the sentiment.
Well, thanks again for stopping by.  May you all stay warm and cozy today!!!

Valentine Tea

I made this card because I HAD to share one of the tea bags with my best friend.  Aveda tea is the BEST tea ever.  I absolutely love it.  It's so comforting.  Anyway....here is my card (which she already received because I couldn't wait to send it to her...lol)

Stamps used were January and March 2013 KOM.  The heart border die is from Die-namics.  Tea (YUUUMMMM) is from Aveda Salons.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a GREAT weekend.  I'm going to go have a cup of hot tea now :)

Believe

Hello all my Unity Sisters out there!!!  Happy Friday...

What a cozy day it is today for us here in Colorado.  Got a nice 6 inches of snow :)

Under the trees is less snow which is good for my tiny dog LOL.  Over to the left, however, is a bit deeper and she avoids that area.

Anyway...my card I made is a birthday card for my WONDERFUL aunt who has always been there for me throughout my life.  She will be 79 next month and she's having a hard time accepting all the things that come with age.

She's ALWAYS been a health nut and most of her life she's been a vegetarian.  She's 5' 1" and weighs less than 80lbs.  I'm so worried about her.  I told her she needs to get off the veggi diet and start eating LOTS of fish, chicken, turkey, etc for protein.  She refuses to eat red meat.  Ok...that's fine...but more white meat!!  I wish I could be with her to help her in her days of aging.  She lives in Los Angeles in the Hollywood Hills (across the street from Brad Pitt).  It's beautiful there.  She's lived there since 1964.  She paid pennies for her house back then.  She had it paid off within 15 years.  It's worth millions now.  I miss her.  I wish I could get out to go see her, at least.

Sorry...got a little emotional there LOL.  She's a wonderful person with lots of funny stories of her and my mom growing up.  She has a wonderful career life too.  She was a singer...mostly Opera...and she traveled the globe to perform.  After that she became a Registered Nurse and absolutely LOVED her job.  She's retired now, obviously, and now I wish I could return the favor to her and be there to help her as she was there to help many throughout her life.

Well, sorry for jibber jabbering your ears off.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Hope you all have a great weekend.
