Happy Friday the 13th....and FWF
Well, it's not so happy here in Fort Collins, CO and the surrounding areas...
Flooding in this beautiful state has gotten so bad. I don't have photos of my own to share because I am staying home.
But for now we are out of flood areas but we do live behind a creek that seems to be holding its own........for now.
Anyway...my project for the Friends with Flair is a tag/card I made for my son whose deployment has been extended due to the Syria issues.
Faded Jeans ReInker. Then I spritzed the tag with October Afternoon Sprinklers (Santa's Hat) and Perfect Pearls Mist (Perfect Pearls). I also smeared some silver pigment ink in a couple of spots and then used some silver glitter/clear embossing powder over the top of that to give it a little patriotic sparkle. For the stamps I used Unity's Itty Bitty Heart FINDS Home. I inked it using Stamp Markers. Those things are AWESOME!! The ink stays wet for quite some time on the stamp. But for the creases in the white part of the flag I used a grey colored markers. I used a watermark pad around the edges of the heart and my silver glitter/clear embossing powder. The stars got a dab of Star Dust Stickles. Then I inked the edges of the tag and the heart with the Faded Jeans Distressing Ink and put some Red, White, and Blue fibers on. I love how it all turned out.
Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!!
