About Me

My photo
I am a stay-at-home mom. I have been married to my handsome and wonderful husband for over 14 years. Right now he's battling stomach/esophagus cancer. So I do my best to craft when I can. I have two wonderful boys. My oldest, Garett, is 24 and served 5 years in the Navy. He's been home since the beginning of the year (2014). We are very proud of him. My youngest, "DJ", is 13 and in the 8th grade. I have two Border Collie mix dogs (Koda and Rugu), one Calico cat (Hydie), one orange Tabby cat (Bosley), one Tea Cup Chihuahua (Gigi...I LOVE her sooo much), a Chiweinnie (Lily....sweetest dog ever), and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua (Connor....AAALL boy).

Flying Thank You

Our FIRST Challenge....wow....so exciting.

For my card I used the colors in the picture for my inspiration...but more on a pastel form.  I tried not to go too light though :)

The stamps used:
Unity Stamp Co.
All About You
On Vintage Wings
Vintage Handwritten

Flowers are from Prima, Butterfly and branch is Martha Stewart Punch, thin branch is Impression Obsession,  and the pearls are from Viva Decor Pearl Pen.  Centers of flowers are blue rhinestones.  Thank you for stopping by.  Hope you come and play with us :)

  1. Very pretty interpretation of the photo. What caught my eye first were the little pearls. Great job.

  2. Beautiful colors! I really love that tangerine background with the sparkly silver YOU!

  3. Very pretty flowers and I like the sparkle.

  4. Great piece. Love all the accents to surround the sentiment.

  5. Ooh, I love all those stamps mixed together!

  6. This is so pretty, Sheryl! I love the glittery YOU and your flowers on the corners too. You are such a talented lady.

  7. Beautiful floral design. Great for the sketch, I think. :)

  8. What a beautiful card! I haven't broken out my set to play with yet, but thank you for the inspiration! :)
