About Me

My photo
I am a stay-at-home mom. I have been married to my handsome and wonderful husband for over 14 years. Right now he's battling stomach/esophagus cancer. So I do my best to craft when I can. I have two wonderful boys. My oldest, Garett, is 24 and served 5 years in the Navy. He's been home since the beginning of the year (2014). We are very proud of him. My youngest, "DJ", is 13 and in the 8th grade. I have two Border Collie mix dogs (Koda and Rugu), one Calico cat (Hydie), one orange Tabby cat (Bosley), one Tea Cup Chihuahua (Gigi...I LOVE her sooo much), a Chiweinnie (Lily....sweetest dog ever), and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua (Connor....AAALL boy).

I Love You Puffy

Happy FWF FRIDAY!!

I can't believe that it's already Friday again.  Colorado has taken much of a winter hit for Spring this year and our May 1st was greeted with so much snow.  By the time the snow stopped, we had over 20 inches on the ground.  My dogs LOVE the snow.

 When the snow started, it was WET and very very heavy.  Many tree branches in town were lost.  Luckily the neighbors trees didn't break...but they sure came close.

 Anyway...Now on to my project.

I finally got the chance to play with the cute little panda in the April KOM.  He is so adorable.  My son, who is in the Navy and currently on his way towards North Korea :( absolutely loves Penguins and Pandas.  So this card is going in the mail tomorrow for him.  He will be out in the ocean for 10 months.  So I'm sure this will make him smile.

SUPPLIES:
Stamps:  Unity April 2013 KOM

Other supplies:  Asian paper (I don't remember the maker), Fruit Punch and Christmas Red Stickles, Purple Glaze Gel Pen, Asian luck token, Offray ribbon

Techniques:  I made the panda's face, flower, and the glitter heart puffy by using a large ball stylus that I "learned" from Debby (Design Team Member from Simon Says Stamp)  I love love love her creations....
So hence the title "I Puffy "Heart" You"  :)

    The diecut I used on my card is from Lifestyle Crafts - nesting doily circles (http://lifestylecrafts.com/nesting-doily-circles.html). Have a fabulous weekend! {hugs}

  15. What a great card! I think that Asian coin is the crowning touch. Love it with the paper and the panda. I live in NW WI. Nice of you to send the snow our way. We got 19 inches yesterday. The same wet, heavy snow you got. Many branches, limbs, and trees are down. But, like yours, my dogs are having GREAT fun in it!
