I am a stay-at-home mom. I have been married to my handsome and wonderful husband for over 14 years. Right now he's battling stomach/esophagus cancer. So I do my best to craft when I can. I have two wonderful boys. My oldest, Garett, is 24 and served 5 years in the Navy. He's been home since the beginning of the year (2014). We are very proud of him. My youngest, "DJ", is 13 and in the 8th grade. I have two Border Collie mix dogs (Koda and Rugu), one Calico cat (Hydie), one orange Tabby cat (Bosley), one Tea Cup Chihuahua (Gigi...I LOVE her sooo much), a Chiweinnie (Lily....sweetest dog ever), and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua (Connor....AAALL boy).

Growing In Unity Day 4

Today's project is a Christmas card using the owl from the set Going to be Owl Right.  The sentiment is from Foxy Christmas.

The image is watercolored.  I covered the background paper with some vellum so that it won't be overwhelming for the actual focus of the card...the owl.  Then added a few die cut snowflakes, some washi tape, and gold twine.  I really love how this turned out.

    I like how this came out, too - very darling! I love Howie the Owie. Very nice design and I also like the vellum over the BG paper. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Now I want this Owl stamp! He is so adorable, I want to hug him and kiss his little Beak. I like the scalloped window and vellum. the Water coloring is great. I think you could use this little guy on all kinds of cards. Good job!!
