About Me

My photo
I am a stay-at-home mom. I have been married to my handsome and wonderful husband for over 14 years. Right now he's battling stomach/esophagus cancer. So I do my best to craft when I can. I have two wonderful boys. My oldest, Garett, is 24 and served 5 years in the Navy. He's been home since the beginning of the year (2014). We are very proud of him. My youngest, "DJ", is 13 and in the 8th grade. I have two Border Collie mix dogs (Koda and Rugu), one Calico cat (Hydie), one orange Tabby cat (Bosley), one Tea Cup Chihuahua (Gigi...I LOVE her sooo much), a Chiweinnie (Lily....sweetest dog ever), and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua (Connor....AAALL boy).

Growing In Unity Day 5

Well, it's my last day.  And I'm exhausted...with Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping.

This last group of goodies are some easy little mini gift cards/tags.  I spritzed the background with Smooch Spritz.  Then stamped the owls from the Hoot Hoot Hooray set.  The sentiment is from a group of stamps I won a looooong time ago.  I lightly colored in the owls with colored pencil and added a strip of washi tape to the edge.

I hope you like my project and enjoyed all of the weeks projects of all things owlies.  If you haven't left a comment on my other blogs, make sure you go back and check them out and leave comments.  I will pick two names this weekend and winners will be announce around Monday or Tuesday.  Happy Holidays everyone!!

  1. So very cute! And simple enough that you could mass produce if needed. I've so enjoyed all your creations this week (being an owl lover myself!). Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. The speckled background is really cute. I'm thinking that I need to make some cute tags to keep on hand. The washi tape looks really cute as a little decoration, too, along with the matching yarn. I've never used yarn before--it's cute.

  4. those were fast and fun. So often the tag gets ripped off the present and discarded. You know who will do this so you make sure to give them tags without a lot of glitz.
    these will work wonderfully.
thanks for sharing a great idea.
